You may remember a couple weeks ago a guy found shrimp tails in his Cinnamon Toast Crunch and now this?! What is going on at these food distribution sites?? Bow Horn Weasel from Elmo, Montana said his 6 year old son found a bullet in the bottom of his Flaming Hot Cheetos bag he purchased from the local gas station on Easter Sunday. As you can see, there seems to be flaming Cheetos dust on the bullet but it’s not really coated which have some people suspicious of this accusation.
A spokesperson from Frito-Lay responded to the TMZ story saying “The company is committed to ensuring the quality and safety of its products. This situation is highly unusual and troubling, and we have already taken steps to investigate and attempt to identify the root cause.”
Weasel said he isn’t looking for any compensation, he just wants them to be aware of the situation and take the proper steps to make sure this never happens again. Frito-Lay will be sending him a testing kit of some sort to help get to the bottom of how this happened.
Thank goodness the child didn’t bite into the bullet- that would’ve definitely been a different story!
