Amazon Sidewalk is a new wireless service that shares internet bandwidth from neighbor to neighbor. The idea is that the more people that use Amazon devices such as an Echo or a Ring device, the stronger the WiFi connection becomes. Amazon says through multiple layers of encryption, the data traveling through these devices will be safe but if this doesn’t sound like something you’re down with, you can opt out through their devices setting preferences.
