Where: Ontario Beach Park and the Port of Rochester
What: A summer tradition returns to Ontario Beach Park and the Port of Rochester- the 40th annual Harborfest! This free 4 day summer event features live music, family activities, sand sculpting, a car show even tours of the historic Tall Ship the Lettie G. Howard…plus the American 250 Boat Parade and more.

ROCO 6×6 Art Exhibit:
When: on now thru July 25th
Where: Rochester Contemporary Art Center, 137 East Ave, Rochester
What: RoCo 6×6 the international small arts phenomenon- where thousands of original, 6 inch square artworks are made and donated by international artists, celebrities and local community members. All pieces are displayed anonymously and sold for $20 each to support RoCo.

Spencerport’s Music On The Canal:
When: Sunday evenings thru August 30th from 6:30 til 8:30 pm
Where: Fireman’s Field at the Clyde Carter Memorial Gazebo 75 S. Union Street.

Rochester’s America 250 Celebration:
When: Sunday, July 12th from 5 to 9pm
Where: ESL Ballpark.
What: Join the Rochester community in saying, “Happy birthday, America!” with The American 250 Celebration. This free, no-ticket-required event will include live music, drinks, food, exhibits, games and a fireworks finale at dusk. Live music from Uptown Groove, Prime Time Brass Band, Controversy and Ample Fire.. The first 250 people thru the gate will get free ice cream and a poster and the the first 250 kids will get a free coloring book.

Read-A-Thon:
When: Friday, June 26th 9am til 6pm
Where: Victor Farmington Library, 15 W Main Street in Victor
What: This annual daylong read aloud marathon kicks off summer reading all while raising funds for the library. Guest readers, including local authors and community members read children’s books in 15 to 20 minute sessions- often featuring costumes, interactive songs and crafts for children.

American Red Cross Needs Your Blood:

What: The American Red Cross is facing a severe blood shortage – with donations down around 35% over the past month. They’re asking eligible donors to make an appointment to give blood as soon as possible. People who donate now through Jan. 25 will automatically be entered for a chance to win a trip for two to the Super Bowl! The winner and a guest will get free tickets, access to in-stadium pregame activities, round-trip airfare, three night hotel accommodations and a $1,000 gift card for expenses.
