Tony Lewis of The Outfield dead at 62

Tony Lewis from the British pop rock band The Outfield has passed away at 62. The Outfield’s biggest (and only) hit was their 1985 smash “Your Love”.

TMZ reported Lewis passed away Tuesday near his hometown of London, no cause of death was released.

“It is with great sadness and sorrow to announce that Tony Lewis has unexpectedly passed away. He was a beautiful soul who touched so many lives with his love, his spirit, and his music,” a statement on Lewis’ website read.

Ever since “Your Love” was released it was a huge hit in the states, and has stood the test of time being used frequently in commercials, and this popular SNL skit.
